EDUCATION ASSISTANT/INTERPRETER - VIETNAM BEAR RESCUE CENTRE

Animals Asia is an international NGO dedicated to ending bear bile farming and improving animal welfare in Asia. Join us at our Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre, located in Tam Dao National Park, Vinh Phuc. We are seeking a young, passionate Vietnamese individual to join our team as an Education Assistant/Interpreter. This role involves guiding visitors at our bear rescue centre and supporting educational activities in Vinh Phuc Province.

Position Description: Education Assistant/Interpreter

Location: Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre, Tam Dao National Park, Vinh Phuc
Salary: Starting at 500 USD/month (gross)
Status: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tour Guidance:
  • Lead tours for Vietnamese and international visitors.
  • Host educational tours for schools and groups.
  • Provide English and Vietnamese tours on open days.
  • Assist in executing educational activities about animal welfare.
  • Develop and deliver educational materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Education team on programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate visitor programs with VBRC and Tam Dao National Park staff.
  • Maintain relationships with educational partners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or related field.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and interpreting).
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for animal welfare and environmental conservation.
  • Resident of Vinh Phuc preferred.
