Visiting the Bear Rescue Centres
Animals Asia's award-winning bear rescue centres in China and Vietnam are not open to the public on a daily basis. However, to accommodate the many requests for visits, we arrange guided tours for our supporters on scheduled Open Days twice a month.
As places are limited, priority is given to active Animals Asia donors as it is their generosity that helps us continue our campaign to end bear bile farming, maintain the rescue centres and care for the rescued bears for the remainder of their lives. If you would like to become a donor to guarantee your visit request, please click here to add your contribution to saving Asia's beautiful moon bears.
Tours are conducted in English and either Mandarin or Vietnamese; tour numbers are limited to 20.
Important information
- Visits are by prior arrangement only and all visits must be confirmed by Animals Asia in advance.
- Tours can only be held on the Open Days listed below and we cannot accommodate individual requests outside of these dates.
- Sanctuary Access - while a basic level of fitness is needed to walk around the sanctuaries and view the bears, most areas of our sanctuaries are also wheelchair accessible.
