After the Big Moon Bear Move came a mini move as the juveniles from our Vietnam sanctuary made the short journey to begin exploring a larger enclosure in our new bear house.
Two separate groups of moon bears made the journey to house 8 having outgrown their previous enclosures.
A large group of 15 and another group of six have yet to be integrated so are rotating access to the enclosure. However, staff expect both groups to be integrated in the coming weeks to make a large group of 21 active young bears.
Thankfully, their new environment is now more than big enough for such a big, boisterous group of fun-loving youngsters and – as these incredible shots show – the moon bears are loving every minute of it.
