James, the rescued moon bear who recently had his sight restored by visiting vets, has been revelling in his new world.

And now he’s determined to make up for lost time with the young moon bear friends who share his enclosure.

These pictures, taken at our Vietnam sanctuary last week, show James more curious than ever before – approaching visiting photographers, viewing his enclosure from the top of climbing structures and watching his strange guests as closely as they watch him.

He can’t keep his eyes off anything and everything.

James you are an inspiration.
