Today is Sanctuary Caregiver Day and I'd like to celebrate our teams in China and Vietnam who give their all so passionately, to care for our rescued bears.
Over the past 26 years, we've stood with broken hearts at the graves of too many bears who never should have died so soon.
This is Lelly's story - a two-legged street dog, resilient and determined but most of all, a survivor and a friend.
In a wonderfully collaborative event, we celebrated our Bear Protection Awareness Program in Vietnam with the launch and distribution of a herbal balm to reduce demand for bear bile.
