Supporters' chance to bid for a teddy

Fabulous Marsha Davison of Abracadabra Teddy Bears in England, who has been raising funds for our bears since 2003 is once again holding her popular end-of-year teddy auction for supporters around the world.

Marsha's last auction, with your generous help, raised over £6,463, bringing the overall total raised through her auctions for the moon bears to an astounding £61,158. Now you can help raise even more money for the bears this year.

Thanks to generous teddy-bear makers and collectors from around the world, there are some 80 lots this year, with loveable, huggable teddy bears of all shapes and sizes to suit every pocket – traditional, contemporary and quirky. Highlights include:

Lot 18: A spectacular Steiff musical teddy bear with a porcelain violin made by Lladro, brand new and boxed with a certificate – it’s one of this year’s limited editions and a very generous donation.

Lot 19: A fabulous teddy bear cub.

Lot 24: A cuddly artist bear.

Lot 13: Limited edition Charlie Bear (now retired).

Bidding opens on Sunday 15 December and the auction runs until Sunday 12 January 2014.

To bid, please go to www.abracadabra-teddies.com/charity2.htm and find yourself a cute new friend or choose a special gift that will also make a difference for the moon bears. And as Marsha says, “Please bid with a generous heart, there are no deduction or fees, so all winning bids no matter how small will help the bears in need.”
