... and after Amy in the UK used her art and talent to help the bears, Julie from Toronto used her passion while on a photography tour of China to help them too.
Volunteering at an orphanage for a few days, she took the opportunity to show a film about the bears and the work of Animals Asia, where her pictures of the children's reaction speak for themselves. Both the teachers and students response was impressive as Julie spoke with them all about the bears and other issues of animal welfare - and so the ripples spread out.
