From now on we’ll be able to bring you more rescued moon bear footage – further raising the profile of these beautiful, but endangered animals.
It’s all thanks to generous UK supporters Max WiFi – who have helped us ensure that these bears are even more accessible to the caring people all over the world whose contributions make their sanctuary lives possible.
Max WiFi staff travelled to Vietnam to install remote controlled cameras in House 2 and House 3, meaning that the distance between rescued bears in Tam Dao and those who give towards their care is about to become infinitely closer. The team gave their equipment and their time for free.
Already, the state of the art high definition cameras, which can be pre-programmed or controlled remotely via the web, have caught a joyful moon bear pool party and captured once-shy Nhan Ai – rescued from a concrete and iron cell last year – having the time of her life playing with a puzzle feeder in the wide open spaces of House 2.
The team also donated GoPro cameras which have been taken on recent rescues in Vietnam – further narrowing the divide between rescuers and those cheering them on across the world.
Animals Asia is indebted to Max WiFi for their generous donation and is looking forward to regularly sharing intimate video updates with supporters.
Animals Asia founder Jill Robinson said:
“The Max WiFi team are just incredible to give so generously – not just equipment but also their time – is more than we ever could have hoped for.
“Increasingly Animals Asia is becoming known for the level of transparency we can give supporters. Recently we shared 13 bears being rescued live and there was a huge response via social media. Now we’re saying – you helped us rescue them – look where your donations are going. We want people to see the difference between the sad bears we rescue from cages and the happy bears in our sanctuary. Max WiFi have enabled us to do that – we can’t begin to thank Richard and his team enough.”
